How can a ceramic jar be sealed to prevent wine leakage?
Due to the fact that most manufacturers do not use jar lids to seal wine jars nowadays, many wine jar manufacturers have stopped producing lid designs. Even if some manufacturers do produce jar lids, they cannot serve as a sealing function, but merely serve an aesthetic purpose.
Many people encounter problems when sealing wine jars, not knowing how to properly seal them. If the wine jar is not sealed properly, the off-flavor in the wine will not be easily removed. If there are air holes left during sealing, it will easily lead to the evaporation and loss of alcohol, affecting the entire jar of wine. Here are a few methods for sealing wine jars that I would like to share with you:

Cover the opening of the jar with a piece of cloth or a piece of paper with good durability, such as kraft paper, and then cover it with plastic wrap or plastic film. Make sure the jar opening is properly sealed, and the covering paper and plastic film extend beyond the neck of the jar. Finally, tie the jar tightly with a rope wrapped around the opening.
The long-term stored wine jars are reinforced with thick mud mixed with lees on top, which can serve as reinforcement and sealing. If the wine jar is stored in a cellar, a red silk cloth can be covered on the outer layer of the jar mouth, which is both beautiful and elegant.

The foam plastic wine jar sealing cap represents an improvement over the ceramic wine jar sealing packaging. Its characteristic lies in the use of foam plastic to form in the mold cavity of the wine jar cap, with a shape similar to the original mud-yellow. The foam plastic can be PE, with a foaming ratio of 45 times.
In fact, this new type of foam plastic wine jar sealing cap has many advantages, such as good sealing performance, saving a lot of farmland soil, reducing packaging labor intensity, and making packaging aesthetically pleasing. It has achieved standardization in wine packaging.

The wine jar sealing and strapping band comprises an integrated fastener, lock teeth, and strapping band. The middle part of the fastener is open; the lock teeth are well attached to the inner wall of the opening of the fastener and maintain a gap with the opposite inner wall; and the strapping band extends away from the fastener, forming a strapping band tail.
The size of the cable tie is designed to be just large enough to be inserted through the gap and pass through the buckle. The cable tie has a row of barbed teeth, which can engage with the locking teeth on the buckle to prevent the inserted cable tie from being pulled out. The bundling strap can easily and conveniently tie up the mouth of the wine jar, making the sealed wrapping less prone to damage.
